Formed in 1968 to trade in mine safety equipment designed and manufactured by A. Hann. In 1973 set up a private independent Mines Rescue Station to train and cover the miscellaneous mines in Cornwall, Devon and Dorset. Contracting to several international mining companies including R.T.Z., Consolidated Goldfields, ECC International etc. Training teams in all aspects of Mine Rescue work.
Also contracted to carry out various safety work and surveys for Devon County Council, Bath City Council, Ove Arup & Partners, Laporte Industries Ltd. etc
At our training centre in Radstock we are currently involved in industrial training for confined space operation-Entry-Rescue and use of Breathing Apparatus. Also specialist courses for the Fire & Rescue Service in safe entry into unsafe structures - Tunnelling and Shoring. Having now trained over 300 Fire & Rescue Service members and officers from authorities throughout the country. We also run courses in compressed oxygen B.A. and also Fire Awareness / Fire fighting.
We also have many contacts with people who posses specialist knowledge of a wide range of safety related disciplines, to cover most applications.
